I’m Sophie, a knitter, since I was 5 and my mum needed to distract me while she was pregnant with my brother.

Many many years later I’m still here and still knitting! I also teach and facilitate groups. Drop me a line if you’d like to learn or join.

All knitting is beautiful and interesting. I get a lot of pleasure from other people knitting as well as my own. And travelling around exploring crafts from around the world beings me particular joy. And looking at how different people interpret the skill is amazing and always a joyous event.

I’d like to bring the same joy I feel about knitting to as many people as I can. There's even a lovely podcast about the dream yarn shop.
